About AIGS: The AIGS Gemological Laboratory was the first professional gemological laboratory to be established in Asia (1978). The AIGS Gemological Laboratory is a private, independant gemological laboratory. They are members of the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA), and The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA). It is very well known for its expertise in colored gemstones, especially Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Jade and rare stones but it also provides identification and grading services for diamonds and jewelry. About GRS: Dr. A. Peretti graduated from the Institute of Mineralogy and Petrography at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (SFIT) in Zurich (Switzerland) with a PhD on “Mineral formation in the Alps”. In 1996 he founded GRS - an internationally active private gemological research company. The professional activities of Dr. A. Peretti have been certified by the European Federation of Geologists (Paris, France), and he was awarded the title "European Geologist" in 2000. Currently, he is the director and owner of GRS Switzerland, Thailand and Sri Lanka.

About HKD: HKD Diamond Laboratories opened its first of three laboratories in 1994 in the heart of the main trading center of gemstone, diamonds and jewellery in Toronto, Canada. The principal owners are Hemdeep Patel, Graduate Gemologist (GIA), B.Sc. in Astronomy and Physic and Kamal Patel, Graduate Gemologist (GIA), B.A. (Honours). Aside from their formal gemological education from GIA, they are the third generation in the gem and diamond business.
