A Blue Beauty from Burma

Greetings for 2012!

This week I bring you a breathtaking blue sapphire mined from the Mogok valley in Burma. This is a 17.14-Carat oval-shaped sapphire with a hypnotic and very well saturated royal blue color. The stone has exceptionally good luster, and almost loupe-clean clarity.  Certified as unheated & Burmese origin by AGL & Gubelin. Price is available by email.

The Muzo Trapiche Emeralds Collection

This week we present an lavish collection of Trapiche Emeralds mined from the Muzo Mines in Colombia. We were lucky enough to buy out from an old retired German gem-dealer his lifetime collection of Trapiche emeralds. The gentleman used to buy & sell Colombian emeralds in bulk and he would personally travel to the Muzo and Chivor mines in Colombia to buy his stuff. As a by-product, over the years he built this beautiful collection one stone at a time.

Two Rare Kashmir-Origin Sapphires

This week we present two beautiful Sapphires from the famous Kashmir locality. Kashmir Sapphires are the rarest and the most expensive sapphires in the world. They are so scarce that you will probably only see them in a museum or at an auction of rare gems.

The first one is a 2.72-Carat Kashmir Sapphire with an amazing velvety royal blue color. Certified by Dr. Peretti of GemResearch SwissLab (GRS)

2.72-Carat Unheated Kashmir-Origin Sapphire (GRS-Certified)

The second one is a 3.15-Carat Kashmir Sapphire with a subtler shade of blue but with the same beauty that one would expect off a Kashmir Sapphire. Also certified by GRS.
